Like every year, Lalbagh Flower Show 2014, was inaugurated on 8th of August and it went on until 17th of August this year in the Lalbagh Botanical s, Bangalore. Every year these flower shows are conducted twice during January and August, which are organized by the Department of Horticulture and Mysore Horticulture Society. It draws a huge crowd every time as it is been the most awaited event in the City of Bangalore. Every time, they create a variety of new attractions and characters made of colorful flowers.
This year, the two main attractions were Floral Replica of Mysore Palace and the famed Mysore Dasara Procession. Mysore Palace was created using 300, 000 roses of red, yellow and white colors. In front of the Palace, there were elephants, armed soldiers, elite people on the horses, etc., and the palace measured about 45-feet long, 12-feet wide and 27-feet high.
